[New] 20+ Satirical Illustrations That Highlight The Downfalls of Modern Society

For years, humans have been bombarded by logic to inspire change. The ice caps are melting, so we should invest in renewable energy. Poaching is causing the African elephant to go extinct, so trophy hunting should be outlawed. And on, and on… Despite these well-intentioned efforts, it seems reasoning and logic have done little to inspire massive change.
This is where artists, such as Tel Aviv-based Asaf Hanuka, come in. The idea to illustrate modern-day happenings in a satirical way is nothing new.
Illustrators such as Pawel Kuczynski have been doing it for years, after all. But, the way it compels people to stop and reconsider their habits — and the society they live in — will never cease to amaze.

In order for a better world to be created, each human on this planet must question the status quo and decide to better not only themselves but their local community. We hope the following illustrations by Hanuka, who is best-known for his satirical auto-biographical webcomics, will do just that.
Most of the artist’s illustrations feature his life in Israel, lessons on parenting, and modern society.
Sometimes, however, he adds a surreal twist to his artwork to send a deeper message. The end result is captivating and thought-provoking. Learn more here.
