LIVE: At Least 20 Victims in ‘Mass Casualty Event’ at Florida High School
On Wednesday afternoon, a shooting was reported at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Dozens of victims have been reported and local police have the whole area on lockdown.

“Worried parents of Douglas HS students, while this is Parkland scene (handled by BSO) we are assisting. We understand you are worried for your children (and nearby Middle School children, which was put on lockdown as a precaution),” Coral Springs Police tweeted.

As the schools were on lockdown some students posted photos of everyone taking cover.
About 2,900 students are enrolled at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, according to its website.

In the aerial footage that has been taken of the incident, paramedics can be seen taking victims to ambulances, while police and swat teams surround the building.
Around 4 PM on Wednesday, FOX13 reported that police have a suspect in custody, but they have not released his name, and are still ordering people to stay indoors. They did say that the suspect was a student who attended the high school.
