Elon Musk Threated by Head of Russia’s Space Agency For Providing Internet to Ukraine

Another bizarre tweet from Tesla CEO Elon Musk was sent out to his over 90 million followers on Monday, this one implying that his life was in danger.

Musk is claiming that the head of Russia’s Space Agency has threatened him. Why? We hear you ask… Well, apparently it’s because of SpaceX’s use of its Starlink satellites to provide internet in Ukraine. The service has a strong presence in Ukraine, created with the specific goal of keeping the nation online throughout the continuing Russian invasion.

The billionaire claimed they had ‘resisted hacking and jamming attempts’ from the Russians back in April and were concentrating SpaceX resources on counter measures – at the cost of other projects.

Starlink already has roughly 150,000 active users each day in Ukraine, according to the country’s Deputy Prime Minister, Mykhailo Fedorov.

Head of Russian state space agency Roscosmos and the country’s former deputy prime minister, Dmitry Rogozin, is not impressed with the presence of Starlink in the Ukraine.

Rogozin also added a brief video of Elon cheerfully posing for cameras as Musk and his mother arrived in New York City for the Met Gala last week. Here is a translation of the tweet:

“From the testimony of the captured chief of staff of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Dmitry Kormyankov, it follows that the ground-based subscriber equipment of the Starlink satellite company [of] Elon Musk was delivered to the militants of the Nazi Azov Battalion and the Marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Mariupol by military helicopters. Elon Musk is thus involved with supplying the fascist forces in Ukraine with military communications…And for this you will have to answer in an adult way, Elon, no matter how much you’ll play the fool.”

Dmitry Rogozin

After Musk’s post about his life being in possible danger, Rogozin responded again. Here is what he said, according to a translation:

“Nobody needs you. Stop fooling around. Today my country celebrates a great day—Victory Day over fascism. After what you did by supplying the means of communication to the Ukrainian Nazis, unfortunately I cannot congratulate you on this holiday. Think, Elon, which side are you on?”

Dmitry Rogozin

Of course, Moscow’s assertions concerning Nazism have been denied by Western countries. This is also not the first time Musk has been a target of Rogozin, who reportedly labeled the Tesla CEO a “little devil” in the initial days of the conflict in Ukraine.
