Epic Video Shows Moment Girl Shoves Bear Off Wall to Save Her Dogs

A viral TikTok video is making the rounds after being posted on Monday which appears to show a California woman shoving a brown bear off her garden wall to save her dogs – and this video certainly does not disappoint.

The footage posted online posted online by the woman’s cousin Brenda (@bakedlikepie) quickly gained millions of views and tens of thousands of shares within mere hours. The text of the video states: “My cousin Hailey yeeted a bear off her fence today and saved her dogs. How was your Memorial Day?! (WTF?!)”

The footage is accompanied by the popular “Oh No” song and was captured with a Vivint home security camera at Hailey’s home in Bradbury, located in the San Gabriel Valley near Los Angeles.

The video shows frightened dogs running about and barking in their back yard as the large brown bear begins swiping at them while appearing to make its way over the garden wall with at least two of its small cubs.

At that point, a brave woman identified as Hailey suddenly runs out and pushes the brown bear off the wall, sending it tumbling back into the neighboring property.

This buys Hailey enough time to gather her dogs and pick them up before spiriting them off to a safe location.

In a comment, Brenda noted:  “PSA: The dogs and her (Hailey) are okay. No, she doesn’t do this on the regular. They were all outside gardening when the pups noticed the bear.”

In a separate video, Hailey explains how her impulse to “yeet” the bear off the wall came naturally and was a result of her experience dealing with the creatures.

“I was in the mountains, so this was actually really normal and in summers [bears] always come down,” Hailey said.

“They start barking – our dogs – and I thought they were just barking at a dog because they always bark at dogs or squirrels or whatever because they’re dumb,” she continued.
