Hello all! Welcome to TheMindUnleashed.com, a website owned by the The Mind Unleashed, Inc, which was founded in 2012 by Joseph D. Brown, a life-long Chicagoland resident.
The Mind Unleashed focuses on Science, Technology, Culture, Opinion Editorials, and News & Current Events, but you can find an extremely wide range of topics on The Mind Unleashed. We don’t like to tie ourselves down to a specific niche.
The Mind Unleashed was founded a decade ago on the premise that words are powerful, the pen is mightier than the sword, and that ideas can change the world.
Seeking to make the world just a little better through the use of internet media was a founding tenet of the company and its owner.
Content Disclosure.
We are currently a small company and don’t have the resources to go out into the field and do original reporting all the time. Much of our content is rewritten and summarized from other news sources, sometimes with original commentary attached.
We do our best to cite our sources thoroughly (sources can be seen highlighted in blue throughout the content), so if you see it on The Mind Unleashed, you can be sure you are reading accurate information published with good intentions and to the best of our knowledge and ability.
If it catches our attention that the news has changed, we correct ourselves inside the content, or write a follow up article where necessary to add more clarification on a breaking and unfolding situation.
There is a lot of the content on the website that has commentary that can be considered opinion. We do analyze the news after all. The views and thoughts expressed in our articles do not necessarily reflect that of the owner, Joseph, or the company as a whole, The Mind Unleashed, Inc. Take this commentary for what it is, which are only the opinions and views of that particular author.

Financing disclosure. How do we make money?
The Mind Unleashed is an independent news organization. We are not bank rolled by anyone. Our revenue comes entirely from the display and content recommendation advertising you see in our articles.
We are pure in the sense that there are zero special interests groups controlling what we can and cannot publish. Unlike many major news organizations, we are free from that commercial bias.
We hope to soon transition to being 100% user donation based and remove advertising entirely to provide a more user-friendly experience on our website. If you would like to help us with this goal, please reach out to us.
If you see an ad you don’t like pop up on our website, note that we are not in much control over what Google Adsense or our other advertisers show on the website. And we don’t necessarily see what advertisers show our followers, as the advertising shown is based on cookies located in the viewers’ browser.
