Ghislaine Maxwell On Suicide Watch As Her Victim’s Lawyers Worry She Wont Make It Out Alive
An attorney for several Epstein victims thinks Ghislaine Maxwell will die behind bars.
(TMU) – As soon as Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested earlier this week, speculation began to spread online about the potential of her ending up dead behind bars just like her former associate Jeffrey Epstein.
According to many victims and witnesses, Maxwell was heavily involved in Epstein’s child trafficking network and knows some of the most private transgressions of some of the pair’s most famous associates, including Prince Andrew, Donald Trump, and Bill Clinton, among others.
There are some researchers and sources close to the case who believe that Epstein was actually assassinated and that his life was taken to protect the secrets of his powerful friends. If there is any truth to this theory, Maxwell’s life could be in danger as well, especially since she is believed to be cooperating with authorities.
In an interview with The Sun, Epstein’s former employer Steven Hoffenberg said that Maxwell ‘knows everything’ and will ‘totally co-operate’ after her arrest.
Hoffenberg, said that ‘there’s a lot of people very worried’ about what Maxwell could tell investigators, noting that Prince Andrew is especially worried.
“She’s going to cooperate and be very important. Andrew is definitely, definitely concerned,” Hoffenberg said.
Spencer Kuvin, an attorney for several Epstein victims, told The Daily Mail that he thinks she will die behind bars.
“I don’t think she is going to get out of jail alive. I said the same thing about Jeffrey Epstein and people laughed at me. I think she knows way too much information. I just have this gut feeling,” he said.
“It may be that she can’t handle the fear of what’s going to happen to her and takes matters into her own hands or there will be people who are very afraid of what she has to say,” he added.
Meanwhile, Maxwell is reportedly now on suicide watch at the Merrimack County Jail, in New Hampshire.
A source at the prison told The Sun that the staff is being extremely careful to keep a close eye on Maxwell, considering what has happened in the case already.
“Given the death of Jeffrey Epstein in jail, everybody is obviously concerned about making sure nothing happens to Ghislaine Maxwell. Her security is a top priority. The case is being handled extremely sensitively,” the source said.
However, considering that her case is being processed through the same courts as Epstein’s, there is a good chance that Maxwell could soon be transferred to the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Lower Manhattan, the same prison where Epstein mysteriously died.
According to federal prosecutors who have been investigating Epstein’s death, the surveillance footage that should have captured the moments in which his alleged suicide occurred was accidentally deleted by the staff at MCC.
The prison claims that the footage was accidentally recorded over as the result of a clerical error.
To make matters even more suspicious, the prison keeps back up videos for all of their surveillance cameras, but the backups for the important locations are missing.
The prison claims that this was also due to a technical error, but did not give any details about the nature of the error.
