A Bizarre Metallic Orb With A “Secret Code” Just Fell From The Sky And It May Contain “Valuable Information”
“Do not touch it […] It may be radioactive,” a prominent meteorologist warned.
A famous Mexican meteorologist reports that just before midnight on Sunday, a bizarre metal orb imprinted with a “secret code” and perhaps carrying “valuable information within” fell from the sky onto a tree in Veracruz, Mexico, sparking a firestorm of speculation on social media and in the local press.
The meteorologist, Isidro Cano Luna, called on the Mexican Navy to investigate the mysterious orb, which he described as “a very hard plastic or an alloy of various metals” that apparently “has an antenna.”
The bizarre metallic orb fell on top of a tree at 10 p.m. Sunday (July 31) in the Lomas del Ro Medio neighborhood of Veracruz, a 600,000-person city on the Gulf of Mexico in the southeast of the country
Witnesses say they saw the spherical object “falling from the sky” making a noise but that there was no fire.
Trying to make sense of what happened, the meteorologist guessed that the metallic orb might’ve been a piece of a Chinese rocket that crashed into Earth over the weekend.
He advised people not to “touch” the object or “get too close to it” until it has been examined by experts.
“It may be radioactive,” he warned.
However, the narrative got much more interesting an hour later, in Lunda’s next post.
“Following up on the metallic sphere that fell on top of a tree,” he wrote. “It should not be opened or tried to be opened. A specialized team at the Secretary of the Navy of Mexico and/or the Secretary of National Defense needs to collect it and turn it in for special study.”
“On the outside of the sphere there is a code, but no hole or slit through which it could be opened …. These spheres have a timing mechanism that, at a certain time they open by themselves and show the valuable information they have inside.”
On Monday (August 1), Cano updated his followers a second time to explain that the orb is “composed of seven alloys” and had been removed at 3:15 am by a highly specialized team and then sent out of Mexico.
“The object is no longer in the state of Veracruz and its final destination will be beyond our borders … Will the authorities say that this was a joke or fake news? … National security issue: Closed,” he wrote.
The story of the metallic orb has gone viral in Mexico and on UFO forums, with a handful of publications covering the strange sighting. However, no one has yet been able to track down any more information.
Without an explanation yet identified, people around the world have started speculating about what the object could be. Many suspect it was a Chinese rocket, SpaceX, or maybe even a UFO—while others believe, of course, that it’s just part of someone’s weather balloon.
