This is What Happens When an Architect Becomes a Pastry Chef (Hint: It’s Amazing)
Pastry chef Dinara Kasko understands that the most beautiful artwork mimic geometric patterns in nature, which is why she employs mathematics when creating appetizing treats. Not only are the goods she produces delicious and satisfying, they are entrancing to look at.
The former architect combines experimental sculpture with precise methods of construction to create her desserts. MyModernMet reports that by using algorithmic tools and complex diagramming techniques, she is able to fabricate cakes that are reminiscent of 3D graphs, geometric models, and avant-garde sculptures.
Kasko works with a variety of professionals, including mathematicians, scientists, and sculptures to produce the one-of-a-kind creations. Though the end result is always different, each treat satisfies her desire to “make something interesting and fresh.”
Without a doubt, Kasko is one pastry chef to watch. Learn more: Website | Instagram | Facebook
