After Rescuing Puppies from Middle of the Desert, Guy Takes Them on Epic Road Trips [10+ Photos]
In December of 2016, Jordan Kahana was driving from Los Angeles to Colorado for work. As he was cruising through the Arizona desert, the freelance digital director saw a startling sight: two puppy siblings, abandoned and left for dead. Without a second thought, Kahana rescued them.
His immediate concern was helping the pups. So, he took them to a vet where they received their shots and were treated for dehydration. As the time to say “goodbye” approached, Kahana decided he couldn’t let them go. So, he adopted them!
Because the digital director travels a lot for work, the puppies have traveled with him every mile of the way. The dogs, named Sedona and Zeus, have driven over 32,00 miles through 3 states, from coast to coast, with the man that rescued them. And, is apparent from the pictures, they love their new life.
“I’m used to traveling by myself, but it has been great to have some companionship. We’ve basically traveled cross-country in month-long stints,” Kahana told Inside Edition. “I just put the back seat down in the jeep and I’ve got them a mattress so they’re comfortable.”
Kahana documents their adventures on Instagram. If you want to see more of his breathtaking travel photos, visit his profile here.
