Epstein Cut Ties With Close Friend Harvey Weinstein for Abusing “One of His Favorite Girls”

(TMU) — As more details continue to be uncovered about the crimes of both Jeffrey Epstein and Harvey Weinstein, it appears that the pair had a much closer relationship than investigators initially realized.

According to Chauntae Davies, a woman who was trafficked by Epstein between 2001 and 2005, the convicted pedophile used his connection with Weinstein and his Hollywood credentials to lure young women into his trafficking network.

Davies says that Epstein impressed her with his connections to celebrities and high profile political figures. Davies also says that she flew on Epstein’s infamous private jet with former President Bill Clinton, along with actors Chris Tucker and Kevin Spacey in 2002. The specific details of this trip are unclear.

After years of promising one, Epstein finally secured an audition for Davies with a film studio connected with Harvey Weinstein. The audition was for a 2005 film called Feast in which Davies plays a character identified only as “Drunk Girl” on IMDb.

Davies’ attorney, Brad Edwards, explained, “Jeffrey Epstein introduced her to Harvey and that connection is what led to her getting that audition.” 

The Mind Unleashed previously reported that Epstein and Weinstein were seen together at Princess Beatrice’s Windsor Castle party in 2006 with Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s accomplice who is currently on the run.

New York publicist R. Couri Hay told the Daily Beast that Epstein and Maxwell used their Hollywood connections as a way to legitimize their trafficking network.

“From my point of view, I can tell you that Ghislaine and Epstein viewed Hollywood and the movies as a way into power society. Epstein collected people, including movie stars like Woody Allen. It wouldn’t surprise me if Weinstein and Epstein felt a kinship through their immoral character traits and that they had some immediate symbiotic relationship because of their evil ways,” Hay told the Daily Beast.

However, the two reportedly had a falling out after Epstein accused Weinstein of abusing one of his “favorite girls.”

The story is detailed in Edwards’ new book titled Relentless Pursuit, where he writes, “I heard various versions of this story from others, including years later from Epstein himself, who referred to Harvey as a pig. Imagine that.”

“Weinstein was at Epstein’s apartment in France receiving a massage from one of Epstein’s girls when he attempted to aggressively convert the massage into something sexual. The girl rejected his advances. As the story goes, Harvey then verbally abused her for rejecting him,” Edwards writes in the new book.

Other victims have also spoke of the connection between the financier and the film producer, describing how they were promised auditions and acting roles. Maria Farmer, one of Epstein’s earliest victims, says that she remembers hearing Epstein name-dropping the film producer as far back as 1995.

The pair was involved in a failed deal to purchase New York Magazine for $45 million in 2003.
