After A Stray Dog Crashed Their Wedding, This Brazilian Couple Did The Most Amazing Thing

The flowers were in place, the music was playing, and the guests were patiently waiting for the wedding between Marília and Matheus Pieroni to commence. But then, something very unexpected occurred. An uninvited, four-legged wedding crasher trotted down the aisle and toward the bridal chorus. Though he was removed before the couple entered, he later returned. And fortunately for the canine, the newlyweds had the best reaction to his surprise appearance.

During the dog’s second appearance, Marília and Matheus were preparing to say their “I do’s.” To most people’s delight, he walked right up to Marília and fell asleep on her veil. She could have responded in an aghast manner and demanded he be removed from the ceremony, but she laughed instead. Additionally, she insisted the canine be welcomed as an “official guest.” Marília told The Dodo,

“It was a very pleasant surprise for me, because I love animals.”

As the reception began to wind down, the newlyweds searched for their new furry friend. Unfortunately, he had disappeared. Undeterred, Marília and Matheus launched a city-wide search the very next day. For an entire week, they heard nothing… “We decided to adopt him because he is a street dog,” the bride said.

Then one day, they heard the news they had been waiting for. “It took us a long time to find him again, but yesterday, we were contacted and told his whereabouts,” said Marília. The dog had been found, and he needed a home. Immediately, the couple welcomed the pup into their homes and named him Snoop. “…I showered him,” Marília told The Dodo. “He is very happy and slept super good the first night.” Now, they’re one happy family. She added, “We’re all very happy.”
