Runner Comes in Last Place After His Penis Came Out in the Middle of the Race
He frantically attempted to fix the problem, but nothing seemed to be working.
A very terrible incident occurred during a 400-meter race at the 2022 World Athletics U20 Championships that involved a top-tier runner who was only 18 years old.
Nonino got off to a good start in the middle lane, however, eagle-eyed spectators soon noticed that he kept reaching down to his private area.
This became a distraction for the rest of the race.
Sports reporter David Sanchez de Castro reported that Italy’s Alberto Nonino penis literally kept falling out during the grueling race in Cali, Colombia.
“Perhaps I’ve explained myself poorly. His penis escaped out of the side of his shorts and he had to hold it because it wasn’t allowing him to run properly which is normal when your dongle is swinging from side to side,” the journalist wrote.
The runner frantically attempted to fix the problem, but nothing seemed to be working.
In spite of the fact that he started the race in a position very close to the leader of the group, he managed to work his way back to the end of the pack by the time the other runners reached the last corner before the final sprint.
His final time was 51.57 seconds, which placed him in last place.
However, Nonino is choosing to look on the positive side of the situation, despite the fact that it may not be the moment for which he had intended to garner so much attention.
He used his Instagram account to speak with all of his followers.
“I just want to talk to you a little bit about the rumpus there’s been on blogs and social media in general,” he said.
“I’m conscious it was obviously an accident and I’d like to tell you I’m aware of the reaction and you don’t need to send me the links to the blogs out there.”
“I’m trying to laugh about it now but immediately afterwards I felt terrible and I’m thankful to my friends and family for helping me get over what happened a few hours later,” he added.
The young man stated that he’s fortunate to be a resilient person because an event of this nature could be disastrous to another individual.
